Food was delicious! Lots of vegetarian options. I had the angel hair pasta with vodka sauce. It was great. The homemade bread was the best part! There's no place to dine in and no soup served in the summer but it was still an great experience. We ate at a picnic table outside. Food is reasonably priced. They said everything is home made except the noodles (the lasagna noodles ARE home made though! ) we will be back for sure for the vegetarian lasagna!

Delightful takeout only Italian. Friendly service. Eggplant Parmesan - 4/5. Heaps of cheese, tangy tomato sauce, basic and effective breaded eggplant. Came with a side penne and tomato sauce and nice side bread my toddler stole. Tiramisu - 4/5. Good coffee. Nice layering. Parts were frozen so you may need to wait to let to thaw.

The Scartozzi staff catered my wedding. I will forever shout from the mountain tops how wonderful they were throughout the entire process. They were easy to communicate with and answered all questions with a smile. They allowed us to have a one on one with the owners Joe and Rachel to try out the food we wanted. To this day we still get compliments from our guests on how wonderful the food was. The Nashville hot chicken sliders appetizer was an absolute HIT with our guests. The servers were punctual, professional, and kind! We will always suggests Scartozzi’s to anyone and use them for future large events!

The best Italian ever! The red clam is so good... very special. We could go on and on about the tomato basil soup and everything, but to summarize: tops in all categories, you gotta try it! Michigan City, what a gem you have here!

Came here for dinner on our way home from Chicago. I somehow totally skimmed over that this place is a takeout restaurant. However, the cashier was really nice and let us dine in anyways. She even gave us extra bread and cardboard as makeshift trays. I got the chicken Marsala. Wow, I can see just from trying the Marsala how this place has a 4.8 overall on Google Maps! Wonderfully textured and seasoned chicken with a heck of a Marsala sauce!

First time getting food here and it was great! The Chicken Parm was better than Rosebud’s in IL! We will definitely be return customers! Rachel provided great customer service!

In my travel, I always tried to find family-owned restaurants. I am thrilled to see that this restaurant is a family owned business And everyone is truly from Italy. Everyone was super nice. The food was definitely amazing. I got the lasagna, and it came with two pieces of homemade bread. The spices and flavors in the Lasagna, just really elevated this dish. This is a catering or to go only restaurant, but definitely worth the wait. I would highly recommend.
